The fertile volcanic soil in the Santa Ana region, combined with an ideal climate, provides excellent growing conditions for high-quality Arabica coffee. This coffee comes from small producers whose farms dot the slopes of Ilamatepec, the volcano located in the Santa Ana district is the highest in the county.
