April: Kenya Kirinyaga Karani Peaberry

About 600 farmers deliver their coffee to the Karani factory (coffee mill) in the Kirinyaga growing district. The mill is aligned with the Kabare Farmer’s Cooperative Society, which, in addition to processing the coffee, offers support through various programs to the farmers. Karani sits around 1700 MASL.
